much like the print for this project, smokers and bar owners in new york hated these spots. it’s always going to be a question mark in my mind as to whether or not this was a “successful” campaign. i certainly think we made the point, but were people receptive to it? did it do more damage than good? the talent was brilliant, though. all four of these were each done in one take. no trickery.
