design ranch – online promotional video opening and closing animations

in 2011, sanders/wingo partnered with design ranch to produce some promotional films. so we went out and shot a lot of behind the scenes stuff. but when it was all said and done, i thought it might be a good idea to see if chris sickles (red nose studio illustrator and stop motion animator) would bring to life a little idea i had for an opening and closing. he had been at design ranch that year heading up a stop motion workshop and it seemed like a perfect way to illustrate (hint at) how cool the activities can be. he agreed, and this is the result.
