after hours austin poster show – l’orange

in october of 2015, i was made aware of a poster show that was being hosted by a group called after hours. i submitted some of my work and was lucky enough to be selected to participate. below is the piece that i created for the show. it was an 18″ x 24″ silkscreen. four colors on astro bright “blastoff blue” paper. the organizers wanted 30 posters and one “artist proof” from each artist. the posters sold for $30, with $9 of that going to benefit the central texas food bank and the remaining $21 going to the artists. this one came close to selling out on the opening night of the show.
